December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Completion of the construction of Aghdam-Fuzuli motor road is scheduled for next year.

ABC.AZ reports that President’s Deputy Special Representative Bashir Hajiyev said about this at panel discussion "The Great Return: new economic realities & changing demands of the labor market" in Baku.

In addition, the construction of Barda-Aghdam highway is also under completion.

"Azerenergy has already commissioned two substations in this area. By the end of 2026, five residential quarters and 12 villages will be built and populated in Aghdam in accordance with the First State Program on the Great Return. Historical and cultural monuments are also being restored in Aghdam, a central park and forest parks are being designed, construction work will begin in the near future," he said.

Hajiyev recalled that Aghdam was previously known as an industrial city: "Now there is an industrial park in Aghdam. Residents have started the construction of factories. The opening of some of them will take place next year."
