December 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Code of Ethical Conduct for Customs Officials has been endrosed in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the document was approved by the decision of the Board of the State Customs Committee. The document was signed by SCC chairman Shahin Bagirov.

The Code was developed in accordance with the Customs Code and the Law on the Rules of Ethical Conduct of Civil Servants and applies to officials of special rank serving in customs authorities and institutions included in the structure and apparatus of the Customs Committee, as well as to customs officials holding positions not provided for by a special rank.

In general, it is noted that every employee of the customs authority must study and comply with the provisions of the Code, guided by the norms of law, human rights, democratic principles and requirements of ethical behavior.
