Cost of oil goes up, and Brent is at $78.07 a barrel

December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing slightly in Tuesday’s trading after falling the day before.

The price of February’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange rose by $0.04 (0.16%) to $78.07 per barrel by 09:30. Following the trading on December 4, Brent crude futures for February fell by $0.85 (1.08%) to $78.03 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.12 (0.16%) to $73.16 per barrel by 09:30. Following the trading on December 4, the price of January’s WTI oil futures dropped by $1.03 (1.39%) to $73.04 per barrel.
