November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan–Oct 2023, production in the oil/gas sector in Azerbaijan decreased by 2.4%, while it rose by 7.4% in the non-oil/gas sector.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan produced goods for 55.6 billion manats ($32.67 billion) - 1.6% less year-on-year.

According to the Committee, 68.1% of industrial production was done in the mining sector, 26.6% in the processing sector, 4.4% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.9% in the water supply sector, waste treatment, and recycling.

In the mining sector, marketable oil production decreased by 8.1%, while marketable gas production increased by 3.6%.

Production in the sector of production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam increased by 2.2%, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment, and recycling by 14.9%.
