Price of oil goes up, and Brent is at $85.25 a barrel

November 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Wednesday’s trading.

The price of January’s Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.23 (0.27%) to $85.25 per barrel by 09:18. Following the trading on October 31, Brent crude futures for January fell by $1.33 (1.54%) to $85.02 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for December on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:18 rose by $0.10 (0.12%) to $81.12 per barrel. Following the trading on October 31, the price of December’s WTI oil futures declined by $1.29 (1.57%) to $81.02 per barrel.

By the end of October, Brent crude oil fell by 8.3% and WTI oil by 10.8%.
