October 31, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has legalized exemption from tax of income received by citizens on VAT refund mechanism.
ABC.AZ reports that MP Vugar Bayramov noted that in this regard, it is proposed to amend the Tax Code. He added that according to the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, income received on VAT refund mechanism will not be taxed.
"However, even in 2023 and in previous years, taxes on these incomes were not applied, because the state pursued incentive policy in this area. Under the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, exemption of these incomes from tax has been legalized and its legal basis has been formed."
