October 19, Fineko/abc.az. The average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2023 is projected at 9.5%.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Medium-term budget structure of the Ministry of Finance for 2024-27.

According to the MoF baseline scenario, this indicator is expected to reach 5.3% in 2024.

"The projected average annual inflation is expected to decrease to 4.2% in 2027 at a declining pace," the Ministry notes.
It is aimed at maintaining annual inflation in the range of 4 ± 2%.
The steps taken to regulate the inflationary environment will have positive impact on the social welfare of the population, as well as on the growth of economic activity.
