October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2023, AZN 5.48 billion were spent on textile products, clothing and footwear in Azerbaijan in the retail trade network. 

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee that this means an increase of 5% against Jan-Sept 2022. This September alone, AZN 936 million were spent on textile products, clothing and footwear.

In the textile industry, the production of clothing, leather and leather products, footwear, products for AZN 330.9 million were produced, in the textile industry there is an increase of 19.4% versus Jan-Sept 2022, and in the production of clothing –decrease of 16.6%, in the production of leather and leather products and footwear - by 6.6%.
