Daily oil production by OPEC countries grew by 273,000 barrels

October 13, Fineko/abc.az. Total crude oil production in the 13 member countries of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) increased by 273,000 b/d against September.

ABC.AZ informs that according to OPEC monthly oil market report, the total crude oil production by the member countries in September averaged 27.75 million barrels.

Crude oil production increased mainly in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, and the country with the lowest indicator is Venezuela. Nigeria increased production by 141,000 b/d, and Saudi Arabia — by 82,000 barrels. In Venezuela, daily production decreased by 25,000 barrels last month.

The share of OPEC crude oil in total world production in September grew by 0.3% up to 27.6%.

World oil production remained virtually unchanged last month and averaged 100.6 million b/d compared with the previous month.

Production of non-OPEC countries fell by about 300,000 barrels in September, to an average of 72.9 million barrels.
