October 13, Fineko/abc.az. Control measures and operational checks will be strengthened in relation to market entities that allow price manipulation.
ABC.AZ reports that this is stated at the meeting of the working group on monitoring inflation and prices.
It was noted that in order to ensure healthy competitive environment in the domestic market, the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control (under the Ministry of Economy) will strengthen control measures and operational verification of market entities that allow subjective reasons (violations of competition, redistribution of markets and price manipulation), taking into account high price growth observed in recent days for some vegetable products, and effective serious measures will be taken.
