IMF forecast: Country’s unemployment rate to drop to 5.8% next year

October 10, Fineko/abc.az. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated the unemployment forecast in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the October issue of IMF’s World Economy Development Prospects.

According to the report, the unemployment rate in Azerbaijan will be 5.9% in 2023. The IMF predicts that in 2024 the unemployment rate in the country will fall to 5.8%.

The Fund predicted unemployment rate of 5.9% in 2022.
