October 10, Fineko/abc.az. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated its inflation forecast for Azerbaijan this year.

ABC.AZ reports that the Fund decreased the inflation forecast in Azerbaijan from 11.3% to 10.3%.

The IMF believes that the consumer price index in Azerbaijan will decrease to 5.6% in 2024 (2.4% less than Fund’s previous forecast).

The IMF determined that inflation in Azerbaijan will decline to 4% in 2028.

The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan predicted average annual inflation at the level of 9.5% at the end of 2023, 5.3% for 2024 and 4.9% for 2025.
