October 9, Fineko/abc.az. As of October 1, 2023, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan reached 752,500.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that compared with early 2023, the number of active taxpayers increased by 5.7%.

According to the STS, 44,300 of them are VAT-payers (11% more than at the beginning of the year).

The number of active objects (business entities) grew by 6.8% up to 202,100.
