October 9, Fineko/abc.az. The October issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis & Communication of Economic Reforms has been presented.
Over Jan-Sept 2023, Azerbaijan's total exports totaled $26.5 billion and non-oil exports - $2.4 billion. Compared with Jan-Sept 2022, non-oil exports grew by 10.6%.
Over Jan-Sept 2023, food exports reached $616.3 million.
In the first 9 months of 2023, the export of electricity grew 2.7-fold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 3.3-fold, ferrous metal products by 34.3%, and fruits and vegetables by 7.1%.
The statistical value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products for Jan-Sept 2023 increased by 8.4% up to $641.2 million.
The value of the products of the agro-industrial complex, which occupies significant place in the structure of non-oil exports, grew by 22.4% versus Jan-Sept 2022 up to $145.9 million.
Non-oil exports for September 2023 totaled $223.89 million. Of them, $44.9 million accounted for food products and $178.9 million for non-food products.
