September 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to operational data for Jan-Aug 2023, electricity production increased by 154.2 million kWh, amounting to 19.245 bn kWh, exports to 1.53 bn kWh and imports to 169.3 million kWh.

ABC.AZ reports that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote about this on his account in social network Х (ex-Twitter).

"Over Jan-Aug 2023, electricity production from thermal power plants amounted to 17.714 bn, and from renewable sources, including hydropower to 1.531 bn kWh," he posted on X.
