September 13, Fineko/abc.az. The quantity of bankruptcy applications filed by German firms in the 1first half of 2023 increased by 20.5% compared with Jan-Jun 2022, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany.
"In the 1st half of 2023, the district courts of Germany, according to final calculations, reported 8,571 filed applications for the insolvency of companies. This is 20.5% more than in the 1st half of 2022," the report says.
In August, the number of bankruptcy applications increased by 13.8% against August 2022.
