September 13, Fineko/abc.az. As of September 1, 2023, the number of commercial organizations that have passed state registration in Azerbaijan totaled 171,165 (9.9% more versus Jan-Aug 2022).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Tax Service that as of September 1, 2023, 90.5% of commercial legal entities registered in the country are limited liability companies, 1.3% are joint stock companies, 1.1% are cooperatives, etc.

The quantity of active VAT-payers among registered commercial organizations for this period reached 33,317 ones (15.2% more versus Jan-Aug 2022).

In August, 1,458 commercial organizations passed state registration. 87.1% of them with local investments and 12.9% with foreign investments. 83.5% of commercial organizations were registered in e-form.
