September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan produced 20.3 million tons of oil and gas condensate and exported 17 million tons of them in the past 8 months of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that this publication was shared by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov on social network X.

 “According to operational data for Jan-Aug 2023, country’s oil condensate production reached 20.3 million tons, including 17 million tons directed for export. For this period, Azerbaijan produced 32.2 bcm of gas with an increase of 5% and exported 15.8 bcm,” Shahbazov said.

From January to August 2022, our country produced 21.8 million tons of oil (together with condensate) and exported 17.6 million tons of oil (together with condensate). Thus, for 8 months of this year, oil and condensate production in Azerbaijan decreased by 6.88% and exports by 3.41%.
