September 7, Fineko/abc.az. The September issue of the Export Review prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications has been published.
ABC.AZ reports that this issue emphasizes that in the first 8 months of this year, electricity exports grew 3.9-fold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 3.8-fold, exports of ferrous metals by 36.6%, sugar exports by 17.9%, and exports of fruits and vegetables by 7.4%.
Over Jan-Aug 2023, the statistical value of joint exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 10.4% up to $593.9 million. The value of the products of the agro-industrial complex, which occupies a significant place in the structure of non-oil/gas exports, increased by 32.8% versus Jan-Aug 2022 to $132.6 million.
This August non-oil exports totaled $203.6 million, including food export for $51.4 million (a rise of 10.3%) and non-food export for $152.2 million.
