August 30, Fineko/abc.az. In January-June 2023, losses in oil pipelines in Azerbaijan amounted to 1,700 tons, up 30.8% year-on-year.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the data of the State Statistics Committee that for the same period in 2022, losses in Azerbaijan's oil pipelines amounted to 1,300 tons.
It should be noted that in January-June 2023, main oil pipelines transported 19,649,700 tons of oil, which is a 10.7% increase year-on-year. During the reporting period, 76.5% of oil was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan export pipeline, in January-June of this year, 15,025,400 tons of oil were transported through it, which is 6.48% more in annual comparison.
Last year losses in oil pipelines in Azerbaijan made 2,900 tons, which is 12.1% less in annual comparison.
