August 24, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2023, 31,600 people were employed in the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan's economy.

The State Statistics Committee told ABC.AZ that the average monthly nominal wage in the oil and gas sector was AZN 3,621.8.

The wages of employees of state-owned enterprises amounted to AZN 883, and those of private enterprises - AZN 964.6.
