For seven months of this year, insurance companies of Azerbaijan have accrued insurance premiums in the amount of AZN 761,801,000, made insurance payments in the amount of AZN 282,977,000.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for the same period of 2022, Azerbaijani insurance companies accrued insurance premiums in the amount of AZN 580,501,000, made insurance payments worth AZN 241,128,000.

Thus, in the period from January to July 2023, compared to the period from January to July 2022, the accrued insurance premiums increased by AZN 181,300,000 or 31.2%, and insurance payments rose by AZN 41,849,000 or 17.4%.
