During the seven months of this year, the country produced a gross domestic product of AZN 70, 372.2 million, up 0.7% year-on-year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee, in the oil and gas sector of the economy, value added decreased by 2.2%, and in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 3.4%.

Industry accounted for 42.8% of GDP production, trade and vehicle repair accounted for 9.4%, transport and warehousing made 6.1%, agriculture, forestry and fishing made 6%, construction made 4.9%,  tourist accommodation and catering made 2.3%, information and the communications industry made 1.6%, other industries made 17.7%, and net taxes on products and imports amounted to 9.2% of GDP.
GDP per capita was AZN 6,938.8.
