July 31, Fineko/abc.az. On the basis of an agreement signed between the Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC and Turkish company Gen İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş, a new plant based on advanced technologies will be built on the territory of the Pirallahi Industrial Park, the annual production capacity of which at the initial stage will be 35 million boxes.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Economy that an agreement on partnership and joint participation was signed between the Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC and Turkish company Gen İlaç ve Sağlık Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In total, the plant will produce 100 products of 42 names with different dosages and packaging. The initial investment cost of the project is $35 million and the project will create over 100 permanent jobs.
In the future, it is planned to export medicines under brand Made in Azerbaijan to the countries of the region.
