July 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park manufactured output for AZN 1.3 bn for Jan-Jun 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Emil Hajiyev, the department head of the Economic Zones Development Agency, the volume of exported products amounted to AZN 446.3 million.

To date, the industrial park produced output for AZN 8.7 bn, and 36% of them were directed for export. The industrial park exports products to 60 countries around the world.

Currently, 20 residents are operating in the SCIP. The volume of investments in the industrial park exceeds AZN 5.3 bn. More than 6,400 permanent jobs have been created here.
