July 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerpocht LLC, owned by the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, completed 2022 with net profit of AZN 4.336 million. While in 2021, company's net loss amounted to AZN 5.439 million.
ABC.AZ reports that last year Azerpocht's earnings from postal services totaled AZN 20.355 million (12.9% more than a year earlier), revenues from financial services – AZN 23.25 million (91.6% more), revenues from other services – AZN 11.28 million (10.7% more), operating expenses – AZN 26.494 million (9.8% more), general and administrative expenses – AZN 23.258 million (18.8% more).
Depreciation and amortization expenses reached AZN 4.585 million (9.9% less), finance costs – AZN 90,000 (2.6-fold more), estimated credit loss on financial assets – AZN 6.546 million (3-fold more), loss on dealing operations – AZN 406,000 (2.2-fold more), and the payment of income tax – AZN 166,000 (savings in the previous year).
As of January 1, 2023, Azerpocht's assets totaled AZN 624.008 million (43.7% more than a year ago). Company's liabilities increased by 48% up to AZN 574.01 million and the balance sheet capital by 7.2% up to 49.997 million.
Azerpocht as a commercial organization was established in 2009 on the basis of the state enterprise of the same name. Its authorized capital is AZN 73.358 million. The company is the national postal operator of the country.
