Import of air conditioners in Azerbaijan declined by 3.5%

July 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan decreased the import of air conditioners for Jan-May 2023 by 3.5% versus Jan-May to 89,015 conditioners, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

The total cost of air conditioners imported in the country is estimated at $25.5 million (decline of 13.1%).

Over Jan-May, Azerbaijan also imported 250,898 computers, blocks and installations (a rise of 75.4%) for $79.6 million (a rise of 46%).

In addition, Azerbaijan’s imports of washing machines increased by 29.2% up to 84.342 machines, the total cost of which is estimated at $20.229 million (a rise of 30.4%).
