July 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) expects the insurance premiums to make up AZN 1.2-1.3 bn ($710 million – $760 million) at the end of 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA director-general Ziya Aliyev said about this at scientific-practical conference "Successful solutions to insurance disputes".

In 2022, about AZN 1 bn of insurance premiums were collected through 20 insurance companies of Azerbaijan.

"In 2019, AZN 650 million of premiums were gathered in Azerbaijan. In 2023, this figure will amount to AZN 1.2-1.3 bn, and this will mean an almost twofold growth of the insurance market in four years," Aliyev added.
