July 12, Fineko/abc.az. Fuel consumers in Azerbaijan in the 1st half of 2023 purchased motor gasoline and diesel fuel for a total of AZN 1.47 bn ($865.5 million at the current exchange rate), which is 8.1% higher than in 6 months of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, revenues from sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel made up 5.6% in the total retail trade in Azerbaijan.

In 2022, country’s fuel consumers bought gasoline and diesel fuel for AZN 2.768 bn ($1.628 bn), which is 7.9% higher than in 2021.

Currently, the retail price of gasoline Premium Euro-95 in the domestic market of Azerbaijan is 2 manats, Super Euro-98 - 2.3 manats, AI-92 - 1 manats, diesel fuel - 0.8 manats per liter.
