OceanGate suspends its activity

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. OceanGate Expeditions has stated that it was suspending its operations after its Titan bathyscaphe sank in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in June, ABC.AZ reports, referring to company's website.

"OceanGate is suspending all its research and commercial activity," the site informs.

On June 19, OceanGate Expeditions announced that it had lost contact with Titan bathyscaphe, designed to deliver tourists to the site of the Titanic's sinking.

Three days later, the northeast division of the U.S. Coast Guard reported the discovery of debris near the Titanic. Soon the agency confirmed that these were parts of the missing bathyscaphe. The analysis showed that all the passengers of the deep-sea vehicle were killed.
