July 4, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of services rendered to citizens within the compulsory medical insurance will change in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that Zaur Aliyev, the chairman of board of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, informed journalists about this.
According to Aliyev, this change will not affect the population, since payments are made by the Agency.
"There is inflation in the healthcare sector, prices are rising. Our work is constantly being improved, including price changes. This means that the cost of services rendered to citizens within compulsory health insurance will increase. But this does not apply to the population, this is our job. We have to pay the medical institution so that they can cover their expenses."
