July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading after rising last week.
The price of September Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange by 09:40 am decreased by $0.13 (0.17%) to $75.28 per barrel. Following the trading on June 30, Brent crude futures for September increased in price by $0.90 (1.21%), to $75.41 per barrel.
The price of WTI oil futures for August on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:40 am fell by $0.14 (0.20%) to $70.50 per barrel. Following the trading on June 30, the price of August WTI oil futures rose by $1.48 (2.14%) to $70.64 per barrel.
Following the past week, Brent crude oil inreased by 1.89% and WTI by 2.14%.
In June, Brent grew in price by 4.03%, but in the 2nd quarter it fell by 6.1%. The price of WTI increased by 3.52% last month, but in April-June the quotes dropped by 6.7%.
