June 25, Fineko/abc.az. MP Vugar Bayramov stated that the Turkish lira has lost more than 20% in price over the past month, and gave a comment on the occasion.
ABC.AZ reports that Bayramov noted that, unlike the previous period in Türkiye, more independent decisions of the Central Bank, new approaches of the Cabinet of Ministers increased his optimism about the economy of the neighboring country.
"Türkiye is the second largest trading partner of Azerbaijan and the main partner in non-oil exports. In addition to energy, more than a third of our exports go to the fraternal country. From this angle, achieving the stable exchange rate in Türkiye is important for Azerbaijan, as well as in terms of the volume of our exports,” Bayramov said.
