May 16, Fineko/abc.az. In March 2023, inflation in Azerbaijan slowed down, but remained high and made up 13.8% per annum.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in a report published by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The EBRD noted that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan continued to raise the discount interest rate, bringing it to 8.75% in March 2023.

"The recent sharp decline in real income growth should ease inflationary pressures," the bank added.
