Azerbaijan increased gas exports by 10.5% in 4 months

May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan increased gas exports by 10.5% to 8.4 bn cu m for Jan-Apr 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov’s tweet that for the past 4 months the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe amounted to 3.9 bn cu m, or 46% of all supplies from Azerbaijan.

Gas supplies to Türkiye totaled 3.4 bn cu m - 41% of total exports and to Georgia - 1.1 bn cu m - 13% of total exports.

At that, 1.9 bn cu m of gas were transported to Türkiye via the TANAP gas pipeline during the reporting period.
