May 11, Fineko/abc.az. Industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this area produced industrial output for AZN 24.3 bn for Jan-Apr 2023, or 2.4% less versus Jan-Apr 2022.

Production in the oil & gas sector decreased by 3.3% and in the non-oil and gas sector grew by 6.1%.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, 71.1% of industrial production was recorded in the mining sector, 23.6% in the processing sector, 4.6% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.7% in the water supply, waste treatment and recycling sector.

In the mining sector, commercial oil production decreased by 8% and commercial gas extraction increased by 1.9%.
