May 8, Fineko/abc.az. The assets of the Azerbaijani branch of Bank Melli Iran in the first quarter of 2023 increased by AZN 5.732 million compared with the end of the last quarter.

ABC.AZ informs that according to bank's report, its assets increased to AZN 102.352 million for the reported term.

The main reason for this growth is that compared with the end of last year, bank's other assets grew by AZN 337,000 up to AZN 765,000.

Compared with late 2022, the number of loans given by the bank to its customers decreased by AZN 1.18 million to AZN 8.448 million.

The increase in the bank's deposit portfolio increased the amount of liabilities by AZN 5.1 million up to AZN 64.445 million. Bank's deposit portfolio grew by AZN 3.6 million up to AZN 12.505 million.

The total capital of the bank also increased by AZN 621,000 up to AZN 37.906 million, reducing the accumulated loss by AZN 621,000 to AZN 35.906 million.
