ECB raises interest rates

May 4, Fineko/abc.az. The European Central Bank (ECB) raised its key rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%. The regulator also increased the deposit rate to 3.25% by 25 bps.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that the Board of Governors decided to raise three key ECB interest rates by 25 bps. Accordingly, the interest rate on the main refinancing operations and interest rates on the margin credit line and deposit line will be increased to 3.75%, 4% and 3.25%, respectively, from May 10, 2023," the regulator said.
