May 4, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, it is planned to supply 10.2 bn cu m of Azerbaijani gas to Türkiye, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
In total, in February, deliveries were carried out from 12 countries (Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran – by pipelines), the USA, Angola, Algeria, France, Egypt, Mozambique, Nigeria, Norway and Trinidad and Tobago - LNG).
Azerbaijani gas is supplied to Türkiye, produced as part of the Stage-1 and Stage-2 of Shah Deniz Project.
Azerbaijan and Türkiye signed a new agreement on the purchase and sale of gas from Stage 1 to 11 bn cu m of natural gas via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline in the 3rd quarter of 2021. The agreement envisages the supply of 3.5 bn cu m of gas a year annually from Stage-1 of Shah Deniz by the end of 2024 (Q4 of 2021 - 2024). Deliveries under the agreement began on October 1, 2021.
In 2022, Azerbaijan, as a whole, exported 8.709 bn cu m of gas from Shah Deniz field to Türkiye (decline of 1.3% against 2021).
