May 4, Fineko/abc.az. The potential of a new oil field discovered in the south-east of Türkiye is estimated at $1 bn barrels.

ABC.AZ reports that Melih Khan Bilgin, the head of Turkish oil company TPAO, said this on the air of CNN Turk.

He added that the value of the proven reserves of the field is estimated at about $80 bn, which also means contribution to the country's economy at the level of $3-3.5 bn.
