May 4, Fineko/abc.az. There's a big potential in Zangezur corridor. The railroad connection between China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, is started.

The Zangezur corridor has a big potential to become one of the extension of the One Belt and One Road and also can be part of the North South Corridor.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this during his speech at the 4th international conference "Formation of the Geopolitics of Greater Eurasia: from the Past to the Present & the Future", organized by the ADA University in Shusha.

The president noted that the Zangezur corridor is important not only for Azerbaijan and Armenia, but also at the global level. As we are waiting for more cargo, and the more routes, the better.

“Zangezur corridor is important not only for Azerbaijan and Armenia, but I think on a global scale. Because we expect a growing number of cargoes, growing volume of cargoes. So, the more roads we have the better,” President Aliyev emphasized.
