May 2, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, Azerbaijan's share in the European gas market increased to 6.9% from 4.9% in 2021, ABC.AZ informs with reference to World Bank’s report.

Azerbaijan began gas supplies to Europe on December 31, 2020. Since the beginning of commercial operation, a total of 22 bn cu m of gas have been transported through the Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline (TAP), the European part of the Southern Gas Corridor. Azerbaijan plans to export 12 bn cu m of gas to Europe this year.
