April 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan received more than 1,400 applications to engage in entrepreneurial activity in our liberated regions. Work started on 73 investment projects for entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan's liberated regions.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Alakbarov stated about this at the conference "Heydar Aliyev & Development of Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan".

"In order to increase the attractiveness of entrepreneurial activity in the areas liberated from occupation, residents have been exempt from income, income, property and land taxes since 2023. Their social insurance payments are subsidized from the State Budget. At that, to stimulate production in these territories, the import of raw materials is exempt from VAT for 10 years," Alakbarov said.
