Oil price goes down, and Brent is at $86.26 a barrel

April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grade are declining in Monday’s trading after a rise following the past week.

The price of June Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures exchange by 09:43 decreased by $0.05 (0.06%) to $86.26 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 April, Brent crude futures for June rose by $0.22 (0.26%) to $86.31 per barrel.

By 09:43 am, the price of WTI oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) decreased by $0.05 (0.06%), to $82.38 per barrel. Following the trading on 14 April, the price of May WTI oil futures rose by $0.36 (0.44%) to $82.52 per barrel.

Last week, Brent crude oil rose by 1.40% and WTI oil by 2.26%.
