April 10, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 April 2023, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 1.7% to 724,400 payers compared with the beginning of the year, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service.

According to the STS, the number of active VAT-payers grew by 3.9% up to 41,500 payers for Jan-March 2023.

During the past quarter the number of active objects (business entities) increased by 1.2% and reached 191,500.
