April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is establishing new rules for the sale of a construction object.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, the parliamentarians discussed the amendments to the Law on the Management of Municipal Lands and the Regulations on the procedure for preparing & approving documents on the allotment of municipal lands.

According to the draft amendment to the Law on the Management of Municipal Lands, upon receipt of a positive conclusion from the relevant executive authority on the readiness of the construction object for operation, the land plot on which is located this object can be sold into the ownership of individuals and legal entities or leased to Azerbaijani citizens who have been permanently residing in the territory of the municipality and registered at their place of residence for at least five years. These persons do not participate in open auctions or tenders for land in order to obtain ownership and lease rights to land.

After discussion, the issue was put to the vote and adopted in the 1st reading.
