March 15, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, there was a positive trend in the volume of gold and silver sales of AzerGold CJSC in the international and domestic markets.

ABC.AZ reports that the total sales of jewelry in 2022 amounted to 63,500 ounces of gold and 207,800 ounces of silver.

Compared with 2021, gold sales increased by 3,700 ounces, that is, by 6.1%, and silver sales by 74,900 ounces, that is, by 56.3%.

Of the total sales, 59,900 ounces of gold, as well as 193,500 ounces of silver were sold on international markets. Sales figures in the retail market amounted to 3,000 ounces of gold, 130 ounces of silver. At the request of the domestic market, 555 ounces of gold, 14,200 ounces of silver were sold. Thus, the total sales figures for 2017-2022 amounted to 348,000 ounces of gold and 733,000 ounces of silver.

As a result of the sale of gold and silver on international and local markets, funds in the amount of AZN 207.2 million were attracted to the country's economy in the reporting year. Revenues from the sale of gold and silver for 2017-2022 amounted to AZN 960.7 million.
