Foreign investments in Georgian economy grew by 61%

March 10, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign direct investments in the Georgian economy last year amounted to $2 bn (61.1% more than last year), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the National Statistical Service of Georgia.

According to the report, the UK, Spain, the USA and the Netherlands made the most investments in the country. The volume of direct Russian investments in Georgia decreased by 6% last year.

The investments exceeded $2 bn for the first time in the last 17 years.
