March 3, Fineko/abc.az. Ore deposits and groundwater resources are being audited and monitored in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

ABC.AZ reports that for this purpose, Deputy Minister of Ecology & Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Vugar Kerimov and Chairman of Board of the Geological Exploration Agency Ali Aliyev visited Nakhchivan.

In this regard, Ali Aliyev noted that there are numerous ore and non-metallic deposits on the territory of the Autonomous Republic.

So, over the past 50 years, 13 ore deposits with rich reserves have been discovered here, which include copper, zinc, non-ferrous and precious metals. At that, 70 non-metallic building materials were found and their reserves were calculated.
