February 23, Fineko/abc.az. American company Meta is preparing for a new round of job cuts as part of business reorganization, ABC.AZ reports with reference to The Washington Post.

The next layoffs may affect thousands of workers.

Meta plans to transfer some executives to lower positions without direct subordinates, leveling the management levels between CEO Mark Zuckerberg and the company's interns. Meanwhile, some managers will eventually have to control more employees as their teams grow.

Some Meta employees believe that those whose work to be transformed will eventually quit, which will lead to reduction in the company's workforce.
